SBA Customer Wins "National Customer Service Awards"

The leading supplier of Commercial Laundry Equipment, JLA, has won the "Customer Service Award for Field Service Management" in the National Customer Service Awards, beating household name finalists Fujitsu and Royal Bank of Scotland amongst others.

SBA's Steve Burrows is also IT Director of JLA and an authority on Field Service Management systems; he says "This is a fantastic win for JLA. We have made extensive investment in systems and technologies to ensure that JLA is able to provide the highest quality of Field Service in its industry, and it is very gratifying to see that investment bear fruit. The quality of customer service provided by JLA is amongst the best in the UK irrespective of industry sector, and it is wonderful that it has been recognised as such.".

Round Britain 4 RNLI - IoM Gives Generously

Round Britain 4 RNLI arrives Douglas Paul Churchley collects outside Shoprite in DouglasRound Britain 4 RNLI sailor Paul Churchley arrived in Douglas on Saturday 14th June. Thanks to excellent coverage of the Round Britain 4 RNLI event on Manx Radio, he received extensive recognition from Isle of Man residents, and collected over £450 on Sunday whilst stood outside Shoprite in Victoria Road. This is an fantastic result for a place with such a small population, exceptional generosity from the Isle of Man people - as Paul pointed out, the Island's population is a third that of Plymouth where his voyage around Britain began. Our sincere thanks to Manx Radio, Shoprite, and the people of IoM.

SBA sponsors "Round Britain 4 RNLI"

SBA is proud to be a leg sponsor of "Round Britain 4 RNLI", which will see Cornwall-based businessman Paul Churchley undertake a mammoth 1600 mile voyage around the UK in a small 21-foot pleasure fishing boat to raise funds for the RNLI. Paul will be stopping off at Douglas, IoM on his journey, visiting the home port of Sir William Hillary, founder of the RNLI, probably during the second week of June.
